Pastor Erin joined the SRUBC ministry team in June 2014. She originally grew up in Hillsborough, NB. After seeking God’s will for her, she attended Heritage College & Seminary in Cambridge, ON receiving her Bachelor in Christian School Education with a minor in Children’s Ministry. She then was the Children’s Pastor at Stanley Park Baptist Church in Kitchener, ON for five years. During that time she had a prompting to pursue ordination, so she returned to the Maritimes in 2011 and completed her Masters of Divinity in May 2015. Pastor Erin enjoys seeing children, youth, and leaders have ah-ha! moments. In her spare time you can find her baking and decorating cupcakes, having a good cup of coffee or tea, and becoming a runner.
David joined the SRUBC ministry team in September 2013. He completed a Bachelor of Computer Science and Certificate of Applied Science through Acadia University, and went on to finish his Mechanical Engineering degree at McGill University in Montreal. During the day, David works as an engineering consultant. He has always had a passion for music, starting piano lessons at age 5. He went on to learn various instruments such as the clarinet, saxophone, violin, and percussion, and is learning to play the guitar. When it comes to musical selection for a worship service, he attempts to select songs which fit with the theme or passage, as well as finding a balance with the tempo, style and vintage of the music. David, his wife Deborah, and young son Quinlan, are all quite happy to be attending Stevens Road as they believe in worshiping and serving in the community in which they live.
