We use the bible every week in our services, youth gatherings, bible studies and more. Like many Christians you may engage in daily bible reading, and it is quite possible that you have a decoration in your house that has a bible verse on it. The bible is something we use, but it is not often the focus of our attention. For the next three weeks we are going to change that as we explore three questions; January 12th- Where did the bible come from? January 19th- How do we describe the bible? January 26th- Just what does the bible teach clearly?  This week it is all about the terms we use to describe the bible. While there are many, four of the most important are, Inspired, Authoritative, Infallible and Inherent. To help us reflect on this question we will look at 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Matthew 4:4, and Proverbs 30:5.  Along with the sermon we will have, kids corner, prayers, announcements and music. Are they mysteries locked away so that only the select learned few can hope to understand? How do we bridge the then to now gap?   Along with the sermon we will have, kids corner, prayers, announcements and music. We would be delighted to see you at 10am in person or online.

To help us reflect on this question we will look at Psalm 119, Luke 1:1-4 and John 20:30-31   Along with the sermon we will have, kids corner, prayers, announcements and music. Happy Sunday and Happy New Year. We are starting this year off with a video message from CBAC Executive Director Renee MacVicar along with music provided by CBM also on video. This service allows our volunteers to have a much needed break after a busy Advent and Christmas season, as well as connects us to our denomination partners. I am looking forward to hearing from both CBM and Renee.    Along with the video aspects of the service we will have, prayers and announcements. Happy Sunday! Christmas Eve and Christmas Day may be over but we are not finished with the Christmas season yet. This week we will explore the Advent and Christmas themes of Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love as they are found in the opening passages in Mark and John. We may not find any mangers or magi but they are every bit the introduction to who Jesus is and what his mission and goals are as the famous nativity passages in Matthew and Luke. Along with the sermon we will have music, prayers and announcements. We would be delighted to see you at 10am in person or online.

Happy Sunday! Today is the fourth and final Sunday of Advent  This week Pastor Christopher is concluding the Advent series called 'Waiting for the World to Change', by focusing on the the theme of love. As we reflect on God's great love for his people, we must also consider how we ought to respond. Alongside with the sermon, we will have , worship, prayer, the lighting of the Advent wreath, and announcements.
